New York Jets land in Cortland

The New York Jets have arrived at SUNY Cortland to begin their summer training camp for the upcoming season.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The New York Jets have arrived at SUNY Cortland to begin their summer training camp for the upcoming season.

Hundreds of fans greeted the team to a welcoming party in the city of Cortland as the players and staff arrived Thursday evening.

The team will stay on the SUNY Cortland campus for three weeks and their first practice will take place on Friday.

15 of the team’s practices will be open to the public.

The summer training camp in 2012 reportedly brought in more than $5 million dollars to Cortland County.
