Tiger Woods will be back at Turning Stone, with other PGA stars, for NB3 Challenge

Tiger Woods will return to Turning Stone in August for the sixth annual Notah Begay III (NB3) Foundation Challenge.
Oneida (WSYR-TV) – Tiger Woods will return to Turning Stone in August for the sixth annual Notah Begay III (NB3) Foundation Challenge.

This will be Woods’ fourth appearance at Turning Stone. The charity event benefits Native American children.

Begay – for whom the tournament is named – is one of Woods’ closest friends. The two were roommates at Stanford.

The twelve golfers who will play in this year’s tournament will represent three teams – Team USA, Team Asia, and Team International. The tournament uses a combined best-ball format.

The teams are:

Team USA:
Notah Begay III, Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Bo Van Pelt

Team Asia: K.J. Choi, Charlie Wi, John Huh, James Hahn

Team International: Lee Westwood, Charl Schwartzel, Nicholas Colsaerts, Henrik Stenson

The tournament will take place at Atunyote Golf Club on Wed., Aug. 28.

Tickets are $50. Children 16 and under can attend for free with an adult who has purchased a ticket, if requested. Tickets can be purchased by calling 315-361- 7469.
