New York, NY (WSYR-TV/SportsNetwork.com) - The Houston Texans took South Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney with the No. 1 pick, the Buffalo Bills traded up to grab Clemson WR Sammy Watkins and University of Buffalo LB Khalil Mack goes No. 5 to the Oakland Raiders.

Houston's pick ended a seven-year streak of offensive players being selected first since the Texans took defensive end Mario Williams to start the 2006 draft.

Clowney was the first South Carolina player picked No. 1 overall since the New Orleans Saints took running back George Rogers in 1981.

The St. Louis Rams selected Auburn offensive tackle Greg Robinson No. 2 overall and the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Central Florida quarterback at No. 3.

The Bills traded the No. 9 pick and its 1st-round and 4th-round picks in 2015 to the Cleveland Browns to select Watkins at No. 4.

University of Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack was selected No. 5 overall by the Oakland Raiders. Mack is the highest selection in the school's history.
