ABC: Hillary Clinton will take more time to decide if she will make presidential run in 2016

For now, she plans on campaigning for democratic candidates running for office this year.
(WSYR-TV/ABC) - In an interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer, Hillary Clinton said she is going to take more time to decide if she will run for President in 2016.

Despite the speculation, some say she is the Democratic Party's leading option for the White House.

Clinton says its not likely that she'll make a decision before next year.

For now, she plans on campaigning for democratic candidates running for office this year.

"I just want to kind of get through this year, travel around the country, sign books, help in the midterm elections in the fall and then take a deep breath and kind of go through my pluses and minuses about what I will and will not be thinking about as I make the decision," Clinton told Sawyer.

"I will be on the way to making a decision by the end of the year."

The interview comes ahead of the release of Clinton's new memoir, "Hard Choices".

The entire interview will air in a one-hour primetime special Monday on NewsChannel 9 at 9:00 p.m.
