Crunch to play first game of the Calder Cup finals on Saturday night

The Syracuse Crunch will play in the first game of the Calder Cup Finals Saturday night at the War Memorial Arena.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Syracuse Crunch will play in the first game of the Calder Cup Finals Saturday night at the War Memorial Arena.

The Crunch are playing in their first Calder Cup final in the franchise’s history.

The Crunch will play game 1 on Saturday, June 8, at 7 p.m. and game 2 on Sunday, June 9 at 6 p.m.

Games 3, 4, and 5 – if a fifth game is necessary – will be on the home ice of the Western Conference Champion. Games 6 and 7 would be played in Syracuse, if necessary.

They will play either the Grand Rapids Griffins or the Oklahoma City Barons. The Griffins currently hold a 3-2 series lead over the Barons in the Western Conference Finals.

Tickets for Game 1 and Game 2 of the 2013 Calder Cup Finals are currently on sale and range from $26 to $30 with special rates available for groups of 15 or more (additional day of game charges may apply).
