Dozens participate in Duck Race to end racism

Annual event to end racism in the Central New York community.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Central New Yorkers were at the Inner Harbor in Syracuse Saturday for the Duck Race to end racism.

Dozens of rubber ducks raced down a portion of Onondaga Creek for the event. NewsChannel Nine's duck finished fifth in the race and was awarded "Most Creative Duck."

The event has been going on for more than a decade, organizers say it's a unique way to create dialogue that in turn could end racism in the Central New York community.
