Town of Onondaga (WSYR-TV) - A Camillus man responding to a Craigslist ad was robbed at an apartment complex in the Town of Onondaga on Friday night.

Three teens were arrested after witnesses told deputies they saw a red car leave the scene.

Investigators believe the teens had lured the 27-year old victim to Country View Terrace Apartments along West Seneca Turnpike. He showed up around 6 p.m. looking to close a deal on property listed on Craigslist.

The victim claims he went to a specific apartment where he'd been told the seller lived. But, after he knocked, three men showed up in the hallway and assaulted him before stealing his wallet and cell phone.

Witnesses who heard commotion in the hallway told deputies that they saw the suspects drive away in a red vehicle. An alert was sent out to police in the area.

Onondaga Community College Campus Police found the suspect's vehicle in the parking lot of the campus, which is located near the Country View Terrace Apartments. A reverse emergency phone notification was activated to alert students at the college.

Deputies eventually tracked down the three teens hiding in an apartment at 38 Ponderosa Drive. They also found the victim's property.

The three men arrested for Robbery and Assault are identified as Osiris Bonilla and Brandon Redmond of 38 Ponderosa Drive, as well as Jordan Smith of Mount Vernon, NY. All three suspects are 18-years old.

A fourth man inside the apartment on Ponderosa Drive was taken into custody after deputies discovered an outstanding warrant for his arrest from the Town of Camillus Police Department. It doesn't appear that he was involved with the robbery and assault. Deputies said he would be turned over to the Camillus Police Department.
