Deputies identify 2 killed in Oswego County crash

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people killed in a crash in the town of Palermo on Thursday morning.

Palermo (WSYR-TV) – The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people killed in a crash in the town of Palermo on Thursday morning.

According to deputies, at about 8:05 a.m., a four-door Buick was traveling north on State Route 3 in the town of Palermo while a Chevy Trailblazer was traveling south.
Deputies say they the Buick crossed into the path of the Trailblazer, causing the collision.

Both passengers in the Buick, 21-year-old Zachary Parker and 20-year-old Jennifer Burdick, both of Fulton, were killed.

The Buick’s driver was taken to Upstate University Hospital.

Deputies say the driver of the Trailblazer was treated at the scene and released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office did not indicate if any tickets have been issued at this time.
