Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Syracuse man facing felony charges of child sex abuse was a no-show for court Monday morning after the Onondaga Court Clerk says he refused to leave his jail cell.

Ronald Clark was set to answer to accusations that he failed to register a change of address as a sex offender.

The hearing was also to clear up confusion from a previous appearance, when Clark’s lawyer did not make it to court.

The judge presiding over Clark’s case has ordered him to appear in court on Tuesday.

Clark is also facing charges of Rape in the 1st Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

His wife, Sierra Clark, also faces charges of Rape in the 1st Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Sexual Abuse.

The Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office alleges that Sierra Clark held down a 4-year-old girl while Ronald Clark sexually assaulted her.
