Cazenovia (WSYR-TV) - An Oneida man has been arrested after police say he followed women while they exercised in the Cazenovia area.

Police say 45-year-old Daryl Anthony has been arrested for following women while they exercise.

Back in October, Cazenovia Police said they were stepping up their patrol after receiving multiple reports that a man in an orange car or black truck was following women as they biked or ran.

At the time, the incidents were reported in the area of Sullivan and Lincklaen Streets, as well as Maple Road, according to police.

Officials say Anthony was identified after a citizen observed an orange vehicle, with the vehicle’s rear hatch open, following a woman riding a bicycle.

Anthony was arrested by Madison County Sheriff’s investigators and charged with one count of Criminal Nuisance in the 2nd Degree.

Cazenovia Police say Orders of Protection have been issued to the victims that have been identified.

Anthony was arraigned and is being held in Madison County Jail on $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond.

Anthony’s next court appearance is on Dec. 18 in the Town of Cazenovia Court.
