What happened to my Time Warner email: The Real Deal

If you’re a Time Warner customer and you use Road Runner for email, your service may have gone down several days ago – and it’s still not working.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – If you’re a Time Warner customer and you use Road Runner for email, your service may have gone down several days ago – and it’s still not working.

Time Warner says the issue began a week ago when a problem emerged with the database that is used by the company’s email servers.

About 10 percent of the customers with Road Runner email accounts are affected by the problem, according to Time Warner.

Some customers say they’re seeing delays in sending and receiving messages. Others say they aren’t able to send or receive emails at all.

Time Warner customers who do not have Road Runner accounts have not been affected.

Time Warner says the company is working “around the clock” to fix the problem, but they do not know how long it will take to be resolved.
