First Four continues Wednesday at UD Arena

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Two teams have already punched their tickets to the next round of the NCAA Tournament and tonight, two more teams will play for a chance to move forward.

In the first game, North Carolina Central will tip-off against North Dakota State.

This is the Eagles’ third straight trip to Dayton for the First Four and their fourth NCAA Tournament appearance overall.

The winner of that game will move on to take on top-seeded Duke.

In the nightcap, it’s St. John’s against Arizona State.

This is the Sun Devils’ second straight trip to the First Four.

The Red Storm was the last team in the tournament.

On March 12, 2020, the NCAA canceled its 2020 Men’s Basketball Tournament.  Consequently, and as provided for in the Station’s Basketball Madness Official Rules and due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station (and Nexstar Media Group, Inc.), both the national and local market Basketball Madness Bracket Challenge contests have been canceled. No new entries will be accepted and any previously submitted entries will be deleted within five (5) business days.
