13th Annual Downtown Syracuse Dining Weeks Feturing Peppino’s

Bridge Street

The 13th Annual Downtown Syracuse Dining Weeks is here with five new restaurants added. A total of 32 restaurants will be featured making this year’s the biggest Dinning Weeks yet.

The restaurants participating this week are offering three course meals for $25 or less. Alice Maggiore from the Downtown Syracuse Committee joined us to talk about how the original week got extended to two. The five new restaurants that joined this year are: Khao Gaeng, Apizza Regionale, Original Grain, Eleven Waters (Marriott Syracuse Downtown),and Niko’s Family Italian Restaurant. Maggiore says that the week includes all different types of restaurants to chose from for all tastes.

One of the participating restaurants Peppino’s Neapolitan stopped by to make their award-winning pistachio pesto pasta. Their pasta is homemade every day using a pasta maker imported directly from Italy.  While dining, guests can watch the staff make pasta and kids can even go up and get samples.

Along with daily fresh made pasta, Peppino’s brings a new way to enjoy pizza – Neapolitan style.  With 160 years of traditions and methods right from Naples, the chefs are excited to bring their own version of this style right to CNY.

Peppino’s has various locations but the one participating in Dining Weeks is located in Armory Square at 409 S Clinton Street.

Hotels also joined this year’s event by offering packages of $185 dollars per night, free parking at the hotel, and a $25 voucher at any of the participating restaurants. The hotels include: Courtyard Marriott, Residence Inn Marriott, Jefferson Clinton Hotel, and Marriott Syracuse Downtown.

The Annual Downtown Syracuse Dining Weeks began Wednesday, February 15th and runs through Wednesday, March 1st.
