New York Times bestselling author and ABC News correspondent Linsey Davis is releasing her second children’s book, “One Big Heart”, to connect kids through their differences.
Davis wrote the book with her mother stating, “It’s the same message that my mother was making sure she was instilling in me. That’s the same message that I want my son to maintain today.”
The climate in our country today has news coverage of hate crimes and increased intolerance and Davis thinks this is fueled largely by the unknown, by people who were not exposed to differences in culture, religion or race.
“It becomes about making sure that they have that diversity. That they’re accepting and realizing that we are all more alike than different,” said Davis. “God gave us all this one big heart. That’s the most important part because that’s where love starts.”
“One Big Heart” is now available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, local bookstores and wherever books are sold.
