The 25th annual Vettes at the beach celebration kicks off this year with more than 500 corvettes expected to line Sylvan beach for the annual celebration.
The Corvette Club is celebrating two very special milestones this year. The club has been around for fifty years and the annual Vettes at The Beach Celebration is hosting it’s silver anniversary.
Live music, food, dash plaques, trophies, door prizes, raffles and much more is expected to be part of the day-long event. Organizers say that the most rewarding part of the entire celebration is that all of the money goes to local charities. Vice President Rick Rinefierd said that a handful of local charities are chosen each year and the fact that they can keep those funds local means a lot to the club.
The club is made up of owners of all ages and draws drivers from across the country and Canada. One corvette owner exclaimed “The weather will be perfect and so are the cars” as he encourages everyone to come out to the beach this weekend.
The 25th annual Vettes At The Beach celebration kicks off on Sunday July, 29 at 9am and runs through to 4pm. To learn more about Vettes on The Beach, the Syracuse Corvette Club or any other events they put on, visit them online at syracusecorvetteclub.com
