A Piece of Skaneateles History

As Seen On

Skaneateles’ own “Reuel Smith House” is a local piece of history more than 150 years old. The house, also known as “The Cove,” was designed by Alexander Jackson Davis, one of America’s most notable architects.

It’s considered a work of art with it’s Gothic Revival style. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. All of Davis’ other homes in the area have since been demolished.
