The Syracuse University men’s basketball team is partnering with Make-A-Wish Central New York once again for their annual ladies-only event: the Ms. Orange Fan Luncheon.
Make-A-Wish Central New York President and CEO Diane Kuppermann and SU Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jim Boeheim say the event is the largest single fundraiser of the year and will raise over $100,000 for the foundation. It’s raised a total of more than $1 million for wishes since it began 26 years ago.
Attendees can get autographs and take photos with the team and coaching staff, and place bids during a live auction to have a coach or player join their table for lunch. There will be raffles, a silent auction, and merchandise sales during the event. The Sour Sitrus Society, the S.U. cheerleading and dance teams, and Otto the Orange will help keep the crowd entertained.
The Ms.Orange Fan Luncheon will take place on Sunday, October 22nd at The Oncenter in Syracuse. Tailgating in parking garage begins at 9:00am with the luncheon beginning at 10:30am.
Tickets are $70 per person and must be purchased in advance by October 15th.
