Here are four apps you may want to use to help invest your tax refund:

  • Robinhood — This is an app which serves as a simple brokerage service. It is geared towards those who are just “dipping” their toes in.   • LOYAL3 — This is not only an iOS app, but also in the web. This gives everyday investors the chance to buy and sell stocks for the brands they love as consumers, such as Apple and Amazon.   • Digit — Digit analyzes your income and spending every few days. It checks your spending habits and removes a few dollars from your checking account if you can afford it to Digit savings account.   • Acorns — You can find Acorns through their app or website. Your spare change from linked credit and debit card purchases is rounded up to the nearest dollar and invested in six different funds.
