Johnston School of Irish Dance “Steps” into St. Patrick’s Day Festivities

As Seen On

It’s time to shine for the Johnston School of Irish Dance.

Saint Patrick’s Day is Sunday, March 17th and dancers from the school are busy making appearances around Central New York celebrating their Irish Heritage.

During the week leading up to Saint Patrick’s Day the team dances at area schools and other special events before lining up to march in the Annual St. Patrick’s Parade.

Dancers from the school put in countless hours of practice preparing for the global celebration of Irish culture and the events leading up to it.

The team said this is their favorite time of year because they can teach the community their heritage through dancing.
