NASCAR Hall-of-Fame Racer Rusty Wallace

There are three whole days of NASCAR excitement next weekend at Watkins Glen which includes the “I Love New York 355,” The Finger Lakes Wine Country 100 and The Zippo 200.

NASCAR legend Rusty Wallace knows firsthand what it means to be part of a race at The Glen. As one of his favorite road courses, he describes it as much different from what he’s accustomed to as a race car driver. The twists and turns of the course and the die-hard fans make for some great racing memories at The Glen, he said.

Rusty is no longer racing but has a long list of accolades including being inducted into all three of The America’s Auto-Racing Hall of Fame.

“There’s not a day that goes by that i don’t miss driving a race car” says Rusty.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series “I Love New York 355” has sold out of grandstand seats for two consecutive years, and has become one of the largest camping crowds on the NASCAR circuit.

The action-filled speedway at Watkins Glen is what brings such high energy from fans, they love every minute of it.
