A day of relaxation and play; is it possible? The Syracuse Chargers Rowing Club says “yes.” They are hosting a community event named The Head of Onondaga.
Onondaga County has a rich history of rowing and will feature rowers of all ages from high school through to 80 year old rowers. The event will feature a pumpkin theme that includes yoga, pumpkin races, a food truck rodeo, musical guests, and more.
This year’s sponsor is Countryside Credit Union and to celebrate the event they will be handing out pumpkins and invite the community to learn more about the credit union, Doree Reno said.
“We are a one-location credit union so people can understand where we are and can join a credit union,” she added. “We are community charted, so anybody that lives, works, or worships in Onondaga County can be a member of our credit union.”
The Head of Onondaga will be held on Sunday, October 13th from 11 am to 7 p.m. Parking is $5, and you can enter Long Branch Parking through John Glenn Blvd.
