Pastabilities has been serving downtown Syracuse the best in Italian-American cuisine for the past 35 years. Their homemade pastas, sauces, salads, Italian stretch bread, and spicy hot tomato oil have captured the hearts and stomachs of not only local residents, but also The Food Network.
Owner Karyn Korteling, and Chef Ruland Coit made a customer favorite on today’s show. Their famous spicy hot tomato oil, when mixed with their house Alfredo sauce is a dish that was “…made up by customers” who wanted to taste the two together. Once the two sauces are mixed, Korteling and Coit baked the Campanelle pasta, mozzarella cheese, and herb ricotta. The dish, called Hot Tom Alfredo Bake, is just one of the dinner entrees available from Pastabilities during Downtown Dining Weeks.
Pastabilities is located at 311 S. Franklin St, Syracuse, NY. They can be reached by calling (315) 474-1153, or online at pastabilities.com/
