Founded in 1942 by Rosemary Sinnett Nesbitt, the Baldwinsville Theatre Guild has been presenting quality theater to the Central New York area for the last 75 years. And to commemorate their special anniversary, the guild has lined up 76 trombones to perform Meredith Wilson’s timeless classic “The Music Man.”
More than 40 artists from across Central New York have been rehearsing for the last three months in preparation for the warm and funny family show. Audiences can expect to see and hear the popular show tunes that made “The Music Man” a hit, including “76 Trombones, Trouble in River City, Wells Fargo Wagon Is a Coming” and so much more.
“The Music Man” opens Friday night at the Presbyterian Education Center in Baldwinsville and runs on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm through February 4. For tickets and more information call (315) 877-8465 or visit baldwinsvilletheatreguild.org.
