Skippy’s Ice Cream has been serving the Onondaga County area for over 20 years and caters to several local and special events. It can serve parties of 100 or more and covers a variety of events such as weddings, graduation parties, birthdays, barbecues, and more.
Skippy’s provides a variety of services and packages at several different costs and are very accommodating to certain needs. Skippy’s can provide professional vendors to serve their products but also allows clients to serve ice cream as well.
This summer Skippy’s will be at ‘ROC the Taste’ in Rochester on July 27 and 28, ‘Canal Days’ in Dewitt on August 4, and the Gus Macker Basketball Tournament on August 11 and 12. New this year, Skippy’s will also enter the food truck competition featuring their ice cream nachos at the New York State Fair on September 1. They will also be at the Burger Bash at NBT Bank Stadium this fall.
With so many events planned for the summer and into the fall, Skippy’s Ice Cream is extremely busy. Husted suggests that people book in advance if they want Skippy’s at their events.
“I have weddings booked all the way to October 6th right now. It’s very exciting,” she said.
