Credit Cards That Benefit You

Bridge Street

While a vast majority of Americans have a credit card or two, have you ever stopped to think if they card is truly benefiting you? Not all credit cards are created equal and there are definitely ones that are much more beneficial to their users than others. Financial Advisor Rick Reagan gives a few suggestions of some options that you might just want to consider adding to your wallet.

First, Reagan does make it clear that he only recommends these cards for individuals that are able to pay them off monthly. Credit cards are certainly not for the irresponsible spender. He also recommends having more than one credit card incase one gets lost or stolen, especially when traveling. He also does not like individualized store credit cards.

His first recommendation was the Fidelity Visa Signature card. This card will give you a full 2% back on all of your purchases with no annual fee attached to it and, it automatically invests your money in a Fidelity account as well. The money can go into an investment account or IRA and actually helps you save.

Reagan also recommends the Amazon Prime Visa Signature card. You get 5% back on any and all Amazon purchases, 2% back on restaurant purchases and gas, and 1% back on all other purchases and finally there is no annual fee. Right now if you sign up, you get a $70 Amazon gift card.
