The 4th annual Walk For Dave is on Saturday, August 6th at Onondaga Lake Park. Registration is $10 per participant.
This walk is to raise Ataxia awareness and funds for the National Ataxia Foundation. The event is dedicated to the memory of David Alessi, who passed away in October 2011 from complications of Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 2.
SCA2 is a condition characterized by progressive problems with movement. People with this condition initially experience problems with coordination and balance.
