At just 15 years old, Tim Conners was diagnosed with cancer that ultimately took his sight. It pushed his body to its limits he says, and he spent more than 100 days in the hospital. Now a decade later, Tim, also known as Tim Possible is challenging himself in many different ways on a mission to ‘inspire a nation with hope,’ he says.
Recently, Tim and a close friend set out on a cross-country tandem bike ride. It took a physical toll on Tim’s body and he adds that it was often grueling at times, but was thankful to friends and family for their constant support.
Today, Tim is the founder of the Redefine Possible Foundation, which is still in its initial stages. He hopes to be able to give back to the communities that have helped him along the way. He adds that “cancer may have taken a lot of things away from me including my sight, but it will never take away my vision.”
