The Downtown Committee is throwing a game night with fun and games taking over Hanover Square.
The second annual family-friendly night out will feature interactive games like Ladder Ball, Corn Hole and Jenga provided by the YMCA. The Syracuse Crunch will even be on hand with a slap shot game for everyone to try out. The event is also part of an unveiling of four new permanent chess tables in the Square.
Syracuse Chess will also be at this year’s game night and is offering free chess sets to the first 40 to 50 people who check in and take a chess lesson.
This is the second annual game night held in Hanover Square and it’s held in conjunction with the Downtown Committee’s Wednesday Walks.
The walk runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and offers free admission and refreshments.
