(WSYR-TV) — Join News Channel 9’s Iris St Meran for a half hour special called Honoring Black History: Sharing our Stories premiering tonight at 7pm.
Iris interviewed Karin Franklin-King, the first African American talk show host in Syracuse before Oprah.
She wants to honor the rich Black History across Central New York and highlight how members of the African American community are stepping up to help others and make innovations.
