It’s “Rescue a Shelter Animal Month” With William Mattar Law Offices

Bridge Street

Through the month of November, William Mattar Law Offices are on a mission: get animals adopted from local shelters.

Mattar Law Offices are working with the Central New York SPCA to help pets find their perfect “forever homes,” Outreach Coordinator Megan Lederhouse says.

“This is the time of year that shelters really need the support. With the cold weather moving in, and the animals that need homes,” she adds. “Around the holidays, we see a lot of worthy causes that need donations and volunteers, sometimes we forget about the animals.”

For the CNY-SPCA, the donation and thought go a long way, representative Donna Newman says, especially since there are so many adoptable animals.

“We are the only shelter that doesn’t have new digs. We have all kinds of dogs in a shelter. We have pedigrees, we have purebreds, and we have mixes,” she adds. “Anything you want, we have in a shelter.”

William Mattar Law Offices are donating supplies to the CNY SPCA and they’ll have a contest too.

On William Mattar’s website, fill out the entry form at the top of the page and attach a photo of your pet. The winner will be featured in a commercial and will pick where William Mattar’s donation will go. They will accept submissions until November 13th.

You can visit the CNY-SPCA at 5878 East Molloy Road in East Syracuse. For more information, you can call them at 315-454-4479, or visit
