Award winning filmmaker and Syracuse native, Sean Cunningham is back in town to screen his first feature film “Hudson” right here in Central New York.
The movie tells the story of two cousins who are estranged from each other but end up reuniting and venture on a road trip to fulfill a wish made by Hudson, the main character.
Cunningham returned home to work on the film and said he always knew that he “wanted to use this landscape” for his first feature film. “I think it’s sort of an undiscovered gem,” he said about Syracuse.
The film “Hudson” will be screened at the Palace Theatre, Thursday October 4th, at 7:30. There is a Q & A to follow with the cast and crew. For more information visit herostatusfilms.com
