(WSYR-TV) — Tuesday was a big day at Syracuse’s Rosamond Gifford Zoo as Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon cut the ribbon and officially opened the doors to the zoo’s brand new animal health center.
It’s a project that’s been in the planning process for more than a year and the zoo’s director Ted Fox joined Bridge Street to talk about the moment.
With this week also being Spring Break, the zoo has a full schedule – which includes the USS Antiquities Cave, the Domestic Animal Barn, and the new HoneyBee Café with a fresh menu.
