People are living longer and healthier lives these days, partly because there is so much information out there. On Tuesday, August 13th, seniors 55 and older can head to Le Moyne College to get answers to their health questions.
This health fair will give visitors an opportunity to talk one-on-one with a wide variety of organizations. There will also be presentations to talk about various topics like dementia, hearing and vision loss and advanced care planning.
“This fair is really to help you ask questions or even start to think about things you might not be thinking about already because we don’t know what we don’t know,” said founder and community relations manager for Community Living Advocates, Nancy Aureli. “You may be like, ‘do I know everything I need to know?’ and this fair will help you figure that out.”
The Senior Health Fair is Tuesday, August 13th from 10 am to 1 pm. It takes place in the James Commons and the Curtin special events rooms in the Le Moyne Campus Center. The event is free for seniors 55 and older to attend. Caregivers of seniors are also welcome to attend. For more information, you can call 315-445-5445 or visit LeMoyne.edu/SeniorFair.
