Small Town Revolution Main Street Makeover

Bridge Street

One of America’s most popular businessmen, Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec and Deluxe’s Amanda Brinkman joined us to talk about the new web series “Small Business Revolution”. They’re heading into their second season and have teamed up to help one small town in America at a time revamp their local small businesses. Now it’s your turn to help them choose what town will get a half million dollar makeover next.

“Small Town Revolution” started as a way to inspire and shine a light on the importance of supporting small businesses in the country and their importance in our daily lives. The town that was picked for the first season was Wabash, Indiana.

Herjavec says that the success of small business is to stay in business and making sure to be able to provide food on the table. The five finalists for Season 2 this year are: Georgetown, SC, Kingsburg, CA, North Adams, MA, Bristol Borough, PA, and Red Wing, MN. Brinkman says each community has their own challenges but are taking the next steps to be revitalized.

What inspired them the most to start the web series was the community support each town has for one another. They understand that they all need one another to truly thrive and realized the importance of small businesses’ roles.

Brinkman and Herjavec both recommend watching Season 1 to gear up for the next season. You can also can help choose what town will receive the next main street makeover by voting for one of their five finalists on
