Former SU Basketball player and new Associate Head Coach of the Syracuse Men’s Basketball team, Adrian Autry, shared his insight on SU’s upcoming season.
As he continues to transition to his new role as Associate Head Coach, Adrian says his responsibilities with the team are pretty similar to what he’s been doing with the newly added responsibility of leading the team if need be.
The coaching staff is still putting the finishing touches on next season’s team and have a group of talented guys coming back. With the loss of some players, Autry says other players have been given a chance to step up and he says they are ready for it.
As a former player and now coach, Autry says that the staff’s history with the team serves as an advantage because they can all speak from experience when it comes to talking with and bringing in new recruits.
Autry along with former SU Men’s Basketball Players will participate in the upcoming Turn-Around Jumpers Tournament June 9th and 10th at Le Moyne College. The registration deadline is May 31st.
