It’s time to do the twist with Mascots for a Cure as it teams up with legendary singer, Chubby Checker, to launch a national tour of helping children and their families battle cancer.
The organization is visiting 36 cities, starting with Syracuse, challenging people to do the twist for 36 seconds to spread awareness. Spokesperson Chubby Checker showed his spirit on the show by doing his original twist. Not only is the organization getting people and mascots across the country to the The Twist challenge, but it is also doing a “Lace Up” for people to wear gold shoelaces in memory of Lacey Holsworth who passed away from cancer.
