The Tully Arts council is bringing the legend of Hans Christian Andersen to life in a musical at the Tully High School Auditorium.

Responsible for classical fairytales like “The Little Mermaid”, “The Ugly Ducking”, “The Emperors New Clothes”, and more, Hans Christian has created many great stories that we all love and enjoy. With music by legendary composer Frank Loesser, Hans Christian Anderson is a joyous musical storybook that brings a timeless tale to life onstage.

Maddie Anna who portrays Madame Doro, believes this musical portrays a beautiful message for all to enjoy. “It’s really enchanting; it’s all about finding your inner child. And Hans really brings that out in the community and others,” Anna said.

Ryan Higgins plays Hans Christian Andersen, he’s excited to portray the main character in the classic musical. “I always thought these stories where Disney, I never knew there was somebody that wrote these stories before Disney came and put these movies on,” Higgins said.
