One in eight Americans is eating pizza on any given day but for those with a gluten allergy or looking to eat healthier Wegmans offers cauliflower crust pizzas. Customers can buy premade frozen pizzas in a variety of flavors including 3 Cheese, Margherita, and Veggie.
The cauliflower crusts are also sold sans toppings for you to build your own pizza. Wegmans Chef Matt O’Hara tops a signature pizza with bacon and caramelized onions finished with a balsamic drizzle, but really any ingredients go. “There’s no set rules,” said O’Hara.
The crusts bake in the oven at 425°F on the center rack for about 10-12 minutes. You can find cauliflower crust pizza in the freezer aisle at your local Wegmans. For more information visit Wegmans.com.
