Actor and Central New York native Tyler Wladis is putting down his “Single Parent” Script and taking to the dance floor to perform for Syracuse City Ballet’s production of “Peter Pan.”
The eight-year-old will take on the role of Michael in the ballet production that is returning to the stage after 20 years. Tyler has wrapped filiming the first season of “Single Parents” and is back in Central New York. He says he loves coming home and equally enjoys being part of a hit television series.
“It’s lots of fun. Everyone is super nice and super talented. They’re very kind and so funny,” he says of other cast members and crew that he’s worked with.
Tyler spends a lot of time with the other kids who are part of the sitcom. He also learns from the veteran actors who are part of the show too. But he’s no stranger to Central New York and gets home when he can, when the show is on hiatus. He’s been rehearsing sporadically for the Syracuse City Ballet’s production of “Peter Pan.”
You can catch Tyler in the ballet on Saturday March 16th and Sunday March 17th at the Crouse Hinds Theater. For tickets and information visit SyracuseCityBallet.com.
