A popular summer festival in a Syracuse neighborhood is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary in 2019.
“Art On The Porches” was started to showcase the Syracuse urban lifestyle, and this weekend over 40 artists from Central New York will be in Strathmore neighborhood for the at the “biggest little festival in Syracuse”.
“City living is alive and wonderful in Syracuse,” said Kelly Wise, an event organizer. She adds that he event was first created to celebrate local artists.
This event has grown over the years, as thousands of people now attend to experience the relaxed festival atmosphere on Ruskin Avenue. Artists will be displaying and selling their artwork from various porches, and there will also be food, demonstrations, and live music including:

There will also be a special lawn area for children, with activities including – you guessed it – arts and crafts.
“Art On The Porches” will take place on Saturday, June 15th, in the Strathmore Neighborhood along Ruskin Avenue in Syracuse. It’s happening from 11am to 5pm, and parking is available at Most Holy Rosary Church.
