Cicero nonprofit CanTeen has recently been nominated to be rebranded by Brand Bash, a team that will help to increase their visibility in their efforts to empower local teens.
Courtesy of the ABC Creative Group, Brand Bash aims to give back to the community by re-vamping the marketing and community awareness of local nonprofits every year.
CanTeen is a drop-in teen center with a mission to provide support and different services to help local teens be the best versions of themselves. CanTeen provides a safe place for teens to spend free time, participate in community service efforts, go on sponsored trips during the summer, and much more.
Now that CanTeen has been selected by Brand Bash, over the course of 24 hours the nonprofit will undergo a complete transformation of it’s brand, community image, and outreach strategies in hopes of attracting more teens to take advantage of its services.
“Having the kids be a part of this process, so they can speak their minds as well is huge”, said Toni Brauchle, director of CanTeen.
With this rebranding opportunity Brauchle hopes to eliminate misconceptions about the nonprofit such as the idea that it’s only for certain types of kids or that no good can come from teens gathering in one place.
On June 6th at 8am, the 24-hour Brand Bash will take place, starting off with CanTeen providing a list of their goals and needs followed by a full day of work by the ABC Creative team to transform the brand before 8am the following day.
