The Baldwinsville Meals on Wheels program invites you to dance the night away in celebration of their first ever dance and dine fundraiser.
With a mission to help feed those who need it most, the organization serves 105 clients, seven days a week in and around the Baldwinsville community thanks in large part to volunteer and community support. The program also serves surrounding communities such as Liverpool, Phoenix and Warners.
New Board Member Mary Hendel said that the event is a way to educate the community on how they can help by lending their time or funds to support to program. The fundraiser will feature music, various food trucks and dancing. Prizes will also be awarded to the youngest dance couple and the oldest dance couple.
In addition to fundraising, Elana Brinkerhoff, the Vice President of Baldwinsville Meals on Wheels said that they are in need of drivers to help with food deliveries.
The Fall into Autumn Memories Dance will take place on Saturday, September 22 from 5 to 8pm at the Baldwinsville Meals on Wheels Center located at 76 Canton Street in Baldwinsville. The event is free and proceeds from food purchased will go to help the program. To learn more visit BvilleMOW.org.
