“Liam’s Laughter” Providing Respite for Parents of Children with Disabilities

A new local non-profit wants your help in supporting parents of children with disabilities.

Liam’s Laughter, established a little over 6 months ago, aims to provide short term respite for moms and dads with a child who has special needs. The organization wants to give parents a much needed break by sponsoring a date night including dinner, tickets to a fun event and reimbursement for childcare.

Liam’s Laughter was founded by Bill Haddad who is also Liam’s father. Liam is autistic. Haddad describes his four year old as a sweet boy who, “lights up a room with his laughter”.

Drawing  from his own personal experiences Haddad said, “I  recognize the importance and the value in getting out with your significant other.”

Haddad would like for you to come out with your significant other and support Liam’s Laughter at the organizations First Night Out.

The event is Thursday, January 31st from 6pm to 9pm at the Craftsman Wood Fire Grille, 7300 East Genesee Street, Fayetteville.

Enjoy a four course pre-fixed dinner, lounge singer and two comedians, including headliner Mike Bova. Tickets are sold in a pair and are $50 per person.

They can be purchased on eventbrite.com.
