Many people are steps away from achieving their goals, but Life Coach Jen Liddy says it’s time to make them happen.
Many people who have set goals and objectives get stalled even before they take the first step. Thinking ahead of the first step and overthinking the big picture can prevent people from even starting their goals. Liddy said that people get too worried about the outcome of their plans to start.
“Its paralyzing to us so we don’t take the first step,” she said.
Liddy suggest that people focus on the next step, not the big picture, and adds that mothers especially have a hard time achieving their goals because they fear that their success will prevent them from taking care of their kids.
“It keeps a lot of women stuck,” she said.
Another tip is to not let your negative thoughts get the better of you. Write down all the thoughts that you have regarding your goals. Seeing them out on paper can help you recognize how they might be holding you back.
