Makeup Tips For Brighter Eyes This Summer

Community

Makeup artist Christy Monti has a few tricks up her sleeve for how to brighten up your eyes.

The first product Monti uses is a MAC chromagraphic eye pencil. Applying the nude shade to your waterline can help reduce any redness in your inner eye. To make your eyes appear a little more lifted, you can skip darker eyeliner on your lower waterline and just use a nude color in its place.

The second step is using a highlight in the inner eye crease. Monti uses MAC highlighter in shade Rice Paper which she describes as a very creamy, frosty color. This highlight technique makes your eyes look bright and awake, and can give you a little pop too.

The final product was concealer. Monti placed the product right under the eye to brighten and advises only going one shade lighter when choosing your concealer.
