“Golden Girls” Gracie and Lily seeking retirement home together: Petsavers

(WSYR-TV) – Gracie and Lily from Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter are NewsChannel 9’s featured animals of the week!

Gracie is a ten-year-old Chihuahua and Lily a ten-year-old Terrier-mix. The two are a bonded pair and have been together their entire lives.

Kimberly Smith-Ford from Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter told NewsChannel 9’s Rob Hackford, the two were recently removed from a difficult living situation.

The shelter is requiring that Gracie and Lily be adopted together. Both are good with cats and love people – they’re affectionately known as the “Golden Girls.”

Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter is also seeking donations such as peanut butter, Kongs, leashes, harnesses, and other items.
