Shamrock Run Kicks Of For Its 14th Year

What’s more fun than to run through historic Tipperary Hill in the spirit of the Saint Patrick’s Day.

Ahead of the popular Irish holiday, Janice Mckenna, President of The Tipperary Hill Neighborhood Association said the 4-mile course was designed by The Neighborhood Association race committe to celebrate the area and give runners a taste of the historic area too.

The USA track & field-certified course showcases the historic Tipperary Hill neighborhood of Syracuse, giving runners the opportunity to pass many of Tipp Hill’s favorite landmarks including the world famous “green-on-top” traffic light, scenic parks, architecturally striking churches and popular pubs.

The race starts Saturday March 9th and starts and ends at Brunet Park. The children’s fun run kicks off at 10am and the 4 mile race starts at 11am. To pre-reigster for the race visit
