Celebrating taco Tuesday with “The Mission Restaurant” head chef and owner Steve Morrison, who put a twist on his taco, creating a breakfast taco.
“So I call this a breakfast taco, but two of the nice things about this, is one that you mentioned that this is really something you can put together from ingredients you already have in the refrigerator,” Morrison said. “It doesn’t have to be specifically for breakfast, I’m going to be using eggs so it’s going to be geared more towards breakfast, and the other nice thing is it tastes great all day long!”
Their breakfast taco consists of simple ingredients including cheese, refried beans, quesadillas, eggs, home fries, and crumbled chorizo. These ingredients can be replaced by other convenient ingredients you can find in your refrigerator.
On Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. “The Mission Restaurant” provides brunch which includes their own twists on traditional Mexican meals.
Since 2000, The Mission Restaurant has prided themselves on serving authentically prepared Mexican cuisines and incorporating dishes from other Latin American countries.
