Rob joined the NewsChannel 9 team as a producer in June 2016. After two years at the station he is excited to be moving up and getting the chance to report.
He grew up in Orchard Park, NY a suburb of Buffalo and better known as the home of the Buffalo Bills. Rob began developing his love for reporting while attending Orchard Park High School, as a member of Quaker TV.
After graduating from Orchard Park High School, Rob attended the University at Buffalo for one year, staying close to home, and later transferred to SUNY Oswego, where he served as News Director of the student run station WTOP-10 TV and a Resident Assistant. Rob has also interned at WGRZ-TV in Buffalo and CBS News in New York City.
As a NewsChannel 9 producer, Rob endeavored to create informative newscasts that would benefit the people of Central New York. Rob enjoyed working closely with reporters, anchors, photographers, editors and an amazing production staff and was recently recognized for his producing accomplishments by the Syracuse Press Club.
In his spare time, Rob enjoys hiking, backpacking, playing volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, and running; as well as cooking, attending musicals, and travelling. His main foci in life are family and faith and Rob regularly travels back home to Buffalo to visit his two younger brothers and loving parents — and a Bills or Sabres game is also never out of the question.
