No matter the weather, the City of Syracuse lights up green the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day.
Among the crowd you’ll always find Kay Morse. She’s been marching alongside her friends all her life.
Like others, Kay was there for the music.
While she never misses a March, neither does Henninger — the only high-school level band that’s walked the parade route since it started in the 1980s.
“It’s really important to us, to represent the Syracuse community … specifically the city community,” Rory Edwards, Henninger band director, said.
